About Us

We are a Non-Profit NGO, promoting academic excellence among the brilliant but needy youths of the community of Atuna.

Ing. Prof. Kwadwo Adinkrah-Appiah is a full professor of civil engineering and the first Vice-Chancellor of the Sunyani Technical University (STU), Sunyani, Ghana. He was first appointed as Rector of the then Sunyani Polytechnic in September, 2016 but was later in the same year designated as Interim Vice-Chancellor, after the conversion of the Polytechnic to a fully-fledged University. In the year 2019, a new search process confirmed him as a substantive Vice-Chancellor for the Technical University, with a new four-year mandate that was later renewed in 2023.

As the foundation Vice-Chancellor, Prof. has led the development of the STU in all dimensions including academics, applied research advancements, infrastructure improvement, staff development and advancements in teaching and learning processes in the University till date. His leadership has improved the student population of the University from a low of 4,500 in 2016 to over 10,000 students in 2025. His passion is to further grow STU’s student population, giving opportunities to several talented youths in Ghana, especially those from deprived remote communities.
